Hogwarts Legacy is the title of Avalanche Software which is preparing to arrive on our gaming platforms the next February 10th. However, a more important doubt arises among the various fans of the Harry Potter saga: how do you choose the house and which one is most recommended in Hogwarts Legacy? House influences the adventure

As many of you know, there are four houses in Hogwarts school: Slytherin, Gryffindor, Corvonero e Tassorosso or Hufflepuff depending on the version translated into Italian (we at will refer to the first one for convenience). Each house is distinguished by the colors of belonging, but choosing Slytherin rather than Gryffindor in Hogwarts Legacy is not limited to this. Slytherin – How to choose your house in Hogwarts Legacy?

Founded by Salazar Slytherinthe house is represented by a snake and its colors are green and silver. These will be featured on the clothing and scarves worn by Slytherin students. Every student has access to Slytherin common room which is located in the basement. It is also situated under the large lake, which casts an eerie glow from its windows.

Known for their pursuit of cunning and ambition above all else, Slytherin students are often cast in a more dubious light, as they are often the ones who plan to succeed in their endeavors with little regard for morality or consequences for others.

While not much information has been revealed about how being a student of Slytherin will affect the game, you may find that Slytherin students accept more “pure-blood” witches and wizards and they might even find it easier to befriend them, including potential Slytherin mate, Sebastian Sallow. It is possible that Slytherin students can draw benefit from learning more “wanted” or deadly spells at an accelerated pace, although this theory has not been confirmed.

Among the most important characters who have been part of this family we find the Bloody Baron, Merlino, Tom Riddle e Severus Pitonalthough most of these attended Hogwarts long after the events narrated in the Avalanche Software title.

Gryffindor – How to choose your house in Hogwarts Legacy?

Founded by Godric Grifondorothe house is represented by a lion and its colors are the red and the gold. These will be featured on the different garments a Gryffindor student can wear. Students get exclusive access to the Gryffindor common roomwhich is located in one of the towers and is guarded by a portrait of a woman.

Known for their unshakable courage and chivalryGryffindor students are the most likely to turn to heroism and can be a safe bet for those witches and wizards willing to do the right thing no matter the cost. There’s not much information here either on how Gryffindor’s choice will affect the story of Hogwarts Legacy. It will probably be a lot easier to make friends with other Gryffindorsespecially with one of the companions, Natasi Ona. Given their predisposition for heroism, it’s likely that Gryffindor students can learn more offensive skills at a faster rate compared to their peers.

Among the most important characters of the family we find Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington (also known as Nearly Headless Nick), White Silently, Red Hagrid and obviously, Harry Potter and his friends.

Ravenclaw – How to choose your house in Hogwarts Legacy?

Founded by Rowena Corvonerothe house is represented by an eagle and heralds in blue and bronze. The Ravenclaw Common Room is located in another of the main towers, much like Gryffindor, although instead of being prompted for a password, students are often tasked with solve puzzles to enter. Once inside students can enjoy its large vaulted room featuring windows overlooking the grounds below.

Known for their wisdom, wit and intelligence creative in solving problems, Ravenclaw students are often considered to be more intelligent than their peers. Focusing less on raw power and more on the pursuit of academia, a Ravenclaw takes pride in pursuing the magical arts with determination and diligence to become masters of spellcasting and magic.

Not too much information has been revealed yet about the benefits associated with becoming a Ravenclaw student, although it is likely that you will enjoy yourself much more easily at socialize with other Ravenclaw studentsespecially the potential companion character Amit Thakkar. It’s also possible that Ravenclaw intelligence could lead to a natural talent for master the arts of spells faster than other houses.

Among the most important characters of the family we find the Gray Lady, Uric Testamatta, Son of Vicious, Sybil Patricia Trelawney e Luna Lovegood.

Hufflepuff – How to choose your house in Hogwarts Legacy?

Founded by Helga Tassorossothe house is adorned with a yew next to the yellow and black colors appearing prominently on the clothing worn by Hufflepuff students. Their common room is located somewhere near the castle dungeons, somewhere near the kitchens, and features a cozy, familiar room filled with various wonderful plants and fauna.

Known to be the most inclusive home because it invites anyone who appreciates hard work. Hufflepuff House students are generally considered a good-natured bunch and pride themselves on patience, loyalty and fair play. While they aren’t as ambitious or competitive as the other houses, they are capable of great thingsalthough they are not likely to brag about their successes.

Although information is very scarce for this lineage as well, it is conceivable that make it easier to make friends with other Hufflepuffsincluding potential mate Poppy Sweeting. Belong to this house might as well influence social skills overall or Hufflepuff’s tendency to excel in Herbology, healing magical creatures, and earth defensive spells.

Among the notable characters who have found a place in this house are the Fat Friar, Newt Scamander e Cedric Diggory.
