Al CES 2024Honda announced its new fully electric 0 Series. The company has promised that it will launch a production model based on the “sedan” concept in North America in 2026 and another 0 Series vehicle around the same time or even earlier. At launch, the 0 Series will be a “medium-large” platform. This would support cars equivalent in size to Honda’s current Accord and Passport along with the minivan Odyssey. Honda will later offer 0 Series models with different footprints. A small car platform suitable for sub-compact, mid-compact and compact offerings (such as Honda City, HR-V, Civic, CR-V, etc.) will follow next, as will an even larger platform. Although the current Pilot powered by ICE and its other brother, the Ridgeline, are medium-sized and ride on the same platform as the aforementioned Passport, they are as large as the crossover Honda.
