HONOR today announces the arrival on the market of the new HONOR 50 flagship. The smartphone will be available on the Italian market starting from November and will be able to count on GMS (Google Mobile Services). It should also be noted that the brand’s new device will be the first smartphone to be able to count on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC.
The new HONOR 50 debuts
The new HONOR 50 can count on a 6.57 inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution. The display can produce 1.07 billion colors covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen refresh rate is 120 Hz.
To manage the operation of the smartphone there is the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G supported by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The battery is 4,300 mAh with support for 66 W HONOR SuperCharge technology. On the software side we find the Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 con GMS.
The photographic sector includes a main sensor from 108 Megapixel supported by an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and two 2 Megapixel sensors for the Bokeh effect and for macros. The front camera is 32 megapixel.
Price and release date
The new HONOR 50 will arrive on the Italian market in pre-order starting next November 1st through the store HiHonor. The device will be available from the next November 12, always on HiHonor as well as on Amazon and at the stores of the main mobile telephone operators (TIM, Vodafone and WINDTRE). The recommended retail price will be 529 euro.
