Honor and its goal: double sales in 2022. The Asian multinational company, which gained its independence in 2020 by being recognized internationally as a technological and global brand, puts its chips on the table.
In fact, HONOR has announced HONOR Magic V, the thinnest folding smartphone in the world, a device that is the spokesperson for the brand’s R&D and manufacturing production capabilities. But it doesn’t stop there: HONOR also unveiled a wide range of products at MWC 2022, including the HONOR Magic4 Series, the new HONOR Watch GS 3 and the HONOR Earbuds 3 Pro, outlining further evidence of the commitment of the ‘company in bringing innovation to an even wider range of consumers around the world.
In addition, in recent interviews, George Zhao, CEO of HONOR Device Co, Ltd.expressed confidence in the company’s performance, forecasting a doubling in the annual volume of global sales.
Zhao attributed HONOR’s continued success to the “HONOR Can Do” attitude: a philosophy personified by employees and expressed by the company’s significant innovations. According to Zhao, HONOR has been able to ensure high quality of its products, coupled with the ability to keep up the pace of innovation.
According to a report published last month by Counterpoint Research, however, in the last quarter of 2021, Honor was the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the Chinese market. “We are experiencing incredible growth, and the products we have just announced during MWC 2022 will further boost the brand, allowing us to reach a wider audience,” commented Zhao.
“Today, we have more space to develop our strategy and to create a global brand”, Zhao said. “In order to maintain constant growth, which counteracts the challenges of the industry scenario, such as the scarce availability of chips, HONOR will continue to focus on key international markets, in which we have built a solid foundation through an established fan base and a strong brand awareness “.
Innovation is the beating heart of HONOR: of the more than 11,000 employees, more than 55% are part of the Research and Development division, contributing to the continuous technological growth of the company. For this purpose, HONOR has given birth to six R&D centers, including one in France and one in Japan, as well as more than 100 innovative laboratories.
