There are now a few days to go until the official presentation, scheduled for January 10, of the new Honor Magic V. Meanwhile, an official poster shows it to us in preview.
Honor Magic V: here’s how it will be
There are only four days left until the official presentation of the first foldable smartphone of Honor: the Magic V. But in the age of the web, you know, no secret is going to last. In fact, the first images of the device arrive, which appeared just today on the Chinese portal Weibo. Here’s what the device looks like:
At first glance, the folding seems very reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Xiaomi’s Mi Mix Fold. The back appears in fake leather, quite a bold choice for a leaflet. The orange color is very reminiscent of Oppo Find X2 Pro, while the metal frame features a photographic compartment consisting of three rooms. You may also notice an upward facing speaker (presumably paired with a downward facing one to create the stereo effect) and the power and volume buttons are on the same (right) side.
From a technical point of view, as far as we know, the device should be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The operating system will be Android 12, with 66W fast charging and 50MP rear camera. Also according to rumors, Honor Magic V will be equipped with a high refresh rate display, but different from each other. In fact, the external one should be at 120 Hz, while the internal one will have to be satisfied with only 90Hz. We told you about other device specs here.
No launch outside of China has yet been announced.
