After the separation from Huawei, Honor returns to the market more aggressive than ever, this time offering Honor Magic V, the first folding of the brand
Honor is unstoppable, after the split with the parent company Huawei returns to the market, Chinese and international, with the the brand’s first folding device, We are talking about Honor Magic V. The folding smartphone that has all the credentials to give a hard time to the most famous brands, thus bringing competition in a stagnant market that sees Samsung at its top. Honor’s 5G foldable will rely on the latest platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen.1 and software optimized for large displays. But let’s find out more closely.

Honor Magic V: features
Honor Magic V arrives on the market with a first-class equipment, inside we find the brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen.1, 12 GB of RAM and an internal memory that reaches up to 512GB. To power everything we then find a large 4750mAh battery with SuperCharge fast charging at 66W which will allow you to bring your smartphone from 0 to 100% in just 40 minutes. But it doesn’t stop there because its most interesting feature, the display, reaches a diagonal of 7.9 “(up to 90 hz) when open and 6.45” (up to 120 hz) when closed. The latter will then feature a design with tecnologia waterdrop screen, support for the DCI-P3 color space which will allow the reproduction of 1.07 billion colors and support for HDR 10+. Furthermore, Honor Magic V will be the first smartphone in the world with IMAX Enhanced certification.
The photographic sector certainly does not lag behind, which indeed stands out for quality and quantity. In fact the 50 MP main sensor f / 1.9 from 23mm will bring with it support for Night mode, HDR, Zoom and Honor Image Engine, as well as a computational photography of the highest level. The shell will instead be made of titanium alloy, made even more resistant by liquid metals of zirconium and carbon fibers, while the cooling system with the latest generation graphene will allow you to cool the smartphone without sacrificing efficiency. Finally, we have the new one to manage everything Magic UI 6.0 graphic interface equipped with artificial intelligence, which will learn from the user’s habits to offer an even more immersive and satisfying experience.

Honor Magic V is currently available in China (still no news for the local market) in the Black, Titanium Silver and Burnt Orange colors with the following price lists:
