The release date of Horizon Forbidden West, a follow-up to the famous open world developed by Guerilla Games, is getting closer, and in recent times we have received a lot of trailers and news that have revealed a number of interesting details about the game. In addition to service information such as ESRB rating and game weight, or information on the gameplay like that of the 6 different styles in Aloy’s skill tree, recently a GameInformer article has revealed new information on the Slitherfang, one of the new robots that can be faced.
Horizon Forbidden West: everything we know now about the Slitherfang
As already seen in the trailer for Horizon Forbidden West presented at this year’s The Game Awards, the Slitherfang is a hybrid between a rattlesnake and a cobra who can spit poisonous acid. Besides that, he possesses other powerful abilities, such as the ability to dig into the ground and hide under the ground, a running attack, an electric attack and even a sonic pulse attack which comes from the knots hidden in the neck, and which is capable of deafening Aloy and making her unable to attack for a short period of time.
The director Mathijs de Jonge also claimed that such robot has further dangerous attacks and unpredictable patterns and, having said that, we believe it can be safely stated that the Slitherfang appears to be a formidable enemy.
