Let’s find out together, in this short dedicated guide, how to download Minecraft for free on your phone: whether it’s an iOS or Android device doesn’t matter, we’ll explain it to you in a few simple lines
Minecraft has become, over time, that comfort zone that other titles have rarely managed to give us. When it was released in 2011, none of us would have thought of the series of spin-offs (certainly of rather fluctuating value and quality, but still present), media and merchandising that would surround it over time. This, however, is the true beauty and essence of being a sandbox: infinite possibilities, playfully speaking, because after all, to create a good idea you don’t necessarily need a lot of money, but only, precisely, good minds. There’s no point in talking to you about what Mojang’s title is: you definitely know it, especially if you hang out here on our pages. Here we want to help you discover, as we did for the PC and console version, how to download Minecraft on your phone: whether it’s iOS or Android, let’s see together what the opportunities are.
How to download Minecraft for free on Android phone
First of all, let’s start with the simplest things: to download Minecraft on your mobile device all you have to do is reach the app of your reference store (Play Store or App Store), use the search function and, once you have selected the right result, buy the game. Simple right? But it’s not free!
To download Minecraft for free on your Android phone, simply enter the Play Store app and search, using the search bar, Minecraft Trial. This is actually a trial version of the game, limited time, in which you can experience the Survival mode only and create weapons and armor to defeat dangerous mobs. We remind you that to play Minecraft on Android you will need to have at least version 5.0 of the Operating System, 1 GB of RAM and storage space of more than 1 GB.
How to download Minecraft for free on iOS phone
And what about iOS? Unfortunately, in this case, we do not have a solution. Although the Bedrock Edition version (therefore the classic and updated one, which you also find on PC and console) is available for a fee, there is no possibility of playing Minecraft for free on your Apple phone. This is because Mojang has not set up, as you can also see directly from the official website, a free trial version for the game on iOS so it is currently impossible to download it for free.
