Huawei returns to the smartphone scene with the Pura 70 series, a family of four high-end devices that aims to recapture the market. The entire Pura 70 series boasts an elegant and modern design, with a display LTPO OLED 6.6 inches (Pura 70) or 6.8 inches (Pura 70 Pro, Pro+ and Ultra) with refresh rate a 120Hz and peak brightness of 2500 nits. The glass Kunlun Glass 2 guarantees resistance to scratches and falls.
Huawei Pura 70: hardware
All models are equipped with the processor octa-core Kirin 9010 and have 12GB of RAM. Internal memory varies depending on the model, with options from 256GB to 1TB. The operating system is HarmonyOS 4.2.
The photographic sector is a strong point of the Pura 70 series. The basic model, Pura 70, features a triple rear camera with 50MP main sensor, a 12.5MP wide angle and a 12MP telephoto lens. The Pro, Pro+ and Ultra models offer more advanced configurations, with a 50MP main sensor with variable aperture, a telephoto lens with 3.5x or 5x optical zoom and an additional sensor for ultrawide photos. The 13MP front camera is present on all models.
Other characteristics
Other noteworthy features include satellite connectivity (on all models except Pura 70), the fast charging at 66W or 100Wwireless charging and certification IP68 for resistance to dust and water.
Prices and availability
At the moment, the Pura 70 series has been announced only for the Chinese market. Prices start from around 720 euros for the basic Pura 70 and reach up to approximately 1,470 euros for the Pura 70 Ultra with the maximum memory configuration. There is still no official news on availability in Italy.
