The Marvel animated series I Am Groot 2 will be available on Disney+ starting September 6 with five new mini-episodes
The latest chapter of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and having set Volume 3 aside, the issuer shows no signs of stopping. In fact, the official release date of I Am Groot 2, the second season of the, was recently announced miniseries dedicated to the humanoid tree, as well as the official trailer of the production, which we present below.

Not only will I Am Groot have a second season, new episodes are very close. Disney+ has announced that the Marvel animated series centered on the glory days of Groot, the beloved member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, will return to streaming with five new shorts on September 6th. Needless to say, in season 2 of I Am Groot the mischievous tree he will come back to make one trouble after another. This time, Baby Groot, aboard the spaceships of the Guardians, will find himself exploring the universe and beyond, coming face to face with new and colorful creatures and environments.
Written and directed again by Kirsten Lepore, the new episodes see Hollywood star Vin Diesel reprise his role as Groot from the films and season one in the original version. I Am Groot is just one of the Marvel animated series available to stream on Disney+. It joins the highly acclaimed What If… ? anthology, which will also return with a second season, and Spidey and his amazing friends, designed for younger audiences. To these will be added next year Marvel Zombies, which re-imagines the Marvel Universe with new heroes battling an ever-expanding zombie scourge, and tons more series.
