IIDEA and Leonardo da Vinci Museum present Press Start

PRESS START – Video Game Student Conference sees the collaboration of several important companies in the world of videogames. Let’s talk about 34BigThings, Milestone, Nacon Studio Milan, Reply Game Studios, Ubisoft Milan e Unreal Engine.

All companies that, according to the latest Census of Italian Game Developers carried out by IIDEA in 2021, work in a sector that it employs in Italy over 1600 people. 35% of these companies have hired staff in the past two years. And 59% plan to do so in the next two years. A young environment, with 79% of employees under the age of 36.

But how to start working in this world? The event will respond in three different macro-activities: talk, matchmaking and award. So space a conferences held by professionals from the Italian industry, dating 1: 1 aimed at orientation and recruiting through the platform MeetToMatch, matchmaking partner by Press Start.

Also arrive the Video Game Student Awards, a competition open to all students. There will be several awards Fresco Award (for the artistic aspect, mechanical), Luna Award (for commercial potential) and Strano Award (something strange and totally different).

The aim of the Museum has in fact always been to offer experiences capable of taking the cultural story to a higher level, reaffirming the values ​​symbolized by the figure of Leonardo da Vinci – to whom the museum is named -, an icon of continuity and synthesis between artistic culture. and scientific-technological, different but complementary manifestations of human inventiveness that find full expression in video games, works of artistic creativity and technological ingenuity ”.
