On this occasion, IDEA (Italian Association for the Digital and Interactive Entertainment Industry) relaunches Everything about Videogiochi.ita portal dedicated to parents and educators to play safely.
IIDEA relaunches Tutto sui Videogiochi, the portal for playing safely
The portal, created in collaboration with PEGI SAthe organization that manages the pan-European video game rating system PEGI (Pan European Game Information), offers information to understand how to play safely.
With a new graphic design, it offers various opportunities:
- Text guides and video tutorials to guide parents and educators in the conscious use of video games by children and teenagers.
- Video game classification search engine to easily identify the titles most suitable for different age groups, thanks to the PEGI classification system.
- Awareness campaigns on initiatives promoted by the association to promote the safe use of video games.
The renewed portal maintains a particular focus on online security. Many of the guides on Everything about Video Games provide practical information on activating the parental control systemsallowing parents to monitor or control their children’s gaming behaviors, including time limits, in-app purchases and online interactions.

The recommendations on the portal, combined with active listening to your children and open dialogue about video games, allow you to take advantage of the benefits they can bring on a cognitive, educational and social level.”
