In these hours Iliad does not work in a large part of Italy due to a generalized downtime. The telephone operator, which recently launched eSIMs, is experiencing today – 22 June 2023 – problems for incoming calls in various areas of Italy.
Many users have reported the disservice on Downdetector, complaining of the inability to receive and make calls from smartphones.
What do we know about Iliad’s down, the service hasn’t been working for hours
According to Downdetector, the platform that collects user reports in the event of disruptions, the first down notifications date back to around 08:35 this morning. The peak of reports occurred at 12:05with an up-and-down curve continuing as of this writing (17:07).
The disruptions mainly concern outgoing calls. In fact cAnyone trying to call an Iliad user may hear the answering machine voice, as if the recipient is unreachable or busy. In fact, this is a glitch of the entire network provided by the operator.
It is not clear which areas are most affected by the disruption. Downdetector tells us that the problems are widespread in the areas of Milan, Turin, Rome, Naples, Bari, Venice and Perugia. Other big ones cities such as Florence and Catania, on the other hand, are not affectedor at least we have no confirmed reports.
