iliad announced today the launch of the first fiber offer in Italy that includes a router with Wi-Fi 7 technology. This technological breakthrough promises to double connection performance compared to the previous Wi-Fi 6 standard, offering users unprecedented browsing speed.
With the aim of providing the fastest home connection in the country, iliad has implemented a 100% FTTH fiber solution, thus ensuring superior connection quality. Confirmation of iliad's excellence in the sector came in January 2024, when its fiber was recognized as the fastest in Italy for download and upload by nPerfan independent entity that has conducted over 650 thousand speed and latency tests.
More generally the expansion of iliad's fiber network has reached over 14 million housing unitsthe result of constant commitment and strategic collaborations with the country's main wholesale suppliers.
The new iliadbox Wi-Fi 7 it is designed to last at least 10 years, giving users the ability to manage energy consumption with greater awarenessthanks to ON/OFF button and Sleeping mode.

iliad mobile customers who activate the offer by 5pm on 31 July 2024 they will be able to have the new router for the price of €19.99 per month (with the option to pay only €9.99 by activating the automatic payment option). Everyone else will be able to have it for the price of 24,99€.
The offer also includes unlimited calls to landlines and mobile numbers in Italy and to landlines in over 60 countries around the world. The installation has a one-off cost of €39.99.
