To fight the wait for the last unmissable chapter Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny (scheduled in theaters on June 28); Disney+ announces the arrival of the first four episodes of the well-known cult film saga based on Indiana Jones.
The news came directly from the director Kathleen Kennedy (as well as president of the Lucasfilm); wants to represent a great tribute to the iconic in the cinematographic panorama, played by the now fond Hollywood actor, Harrison Ford. Here is the trailer of the last unmissable episode.
Indiana Jones: Disney+’s tribute to the iconic character
After the official farewell of Harrison Ford in the most iconic role of the film scene; Disney+ has decided to pay homage to the great figure of Indiana Jones, with a package dedicated to the first four episodes of the famous saga.
First among all; the exciting start, with Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). Directed by Steven Spielberg; conquered the general public, obtaining four Academy Awards in the same year. We then move on to the second chapter; Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). Always under the careful direction of Steven Spielberg; the film is a prequel to the first chapter. Also in this case the film obtained recognition at the 1985 Oscars, the Award for Best Special Effects.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) is the third installment in the successful film saga of the series. Directed by Steven Spielberg; it was immediately received with great warmth, also obtaining the prestigious Oscar Award in the Best Sound category. Last, but certainly not least; Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). Last Chapter under the direction of Steven Spielberg; it was the only film to not receive an Academy Award.
An alternative way to dust off and not be caught unprepared for the next chapter Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny. First (and last) episode directed by James Mangold; will see present in the cast (besides the aforementioned Harrison Ford): Phoebe Waller-Bridge; Antonio Banderas; John Rhys-Davies; Toby Jones; Boyd Holbrook; Ethan Isidore and Mads Mikkelsen.
