INEOS Automotive starts production of Grenadier Quartermaster Pick-Ups

I primi Double Cab Pick-Up Grenadier Quartermaster series are leaving the INEOS Automotive production line in Hambach, France. Deliveries in Europe are scheduled to begin in December 2023; expeditions to Asia-Pacific, sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East will follow. The Quartermaster model is expected to go on sale in North America in early 2024.

The two versions Quartermaster e Station Wagon they share the same box-section ladder frame with rugged rigid axles, a two-speed reduction gear and up to three locking differentials. Available engines include a choice of BMW 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six petrol or diesel engines, with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.

Il Quartermaster it is the largest model in the Grenadier line with a wheelbase of 3,227 mm, 305 mm more than the version Station Wagon. This elongated frame allows it to accommodate a large and versatile load compartment, capable of supporting a load of up to 760 kg and effortlessly transporting a standard Euro pallet (1,200 mm x 800 mm).

The chassis-cab variant, built on the same chassis as the Cab Pick-Up of the Quartermaster, will go into production in 2024 and will be specifically aimed at bodybuilders and manufacturers of commercial vehicle bodies.
