Further news from Instagram: the social network launches the test of photos that are transformed into stickers. But how does it work? Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, explains it to us.
Let’s test the photos that become stickers on Instagram
Adam Mosseri the head of Instagram gave a demonstration of how photos that become stickers to add to videos and stories work.
Nothing else was said, but he assured that the privacy will be ensured thanks to users’ acknowledgment by checking a box to allow their images to become stickers.
Stickers on Instagram thanks to AI
He’ll take care of the rest artificial intelligence: stickers on Instagram will be created because AI will allow you to isolate the subject of the photo which will transform it into a sticker to be used in reels and stories.
Other news from Instagram: polls
Polls in the comments section will look the same as they do in Stories, where they are already available as stickers. According to a screenshot by Adam Mosseri shared by Engadget, other users will be able to see how many people voted on a particular poll.
At the moment it is unclear how long the polls will remain open after they are publishedor whether users will have the ability to set a specific duration.
This survey is the latest big news designed by Instagram to make the comments section more interactive. In fact, just in the spring, Meta had introduced the photographic social network GIFs in the comments.
As for the posts, however, we now think about lists of specific users who will be able to view the photos and videos posted (Closest Friends style for stories). Speaking of Stories: Instagram may soon introduce the possibility of creating different lists of users who will be able to watch your content.
