How will it be iOS 16the operating system for iPhone which will debut in beta a June for WWDC 2022 of Apple? There is not yet certain information: for those we will have to wait for the summer. But the Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman reported some possible iOS 16 news after hearing his sources in Cupertino.
The news coming to iPhones with iOS 16
In the latest Power On newsletter, analyst Gurman explains that he doesn’t expect an interface twist for the next version of iOS. However he speaks of “significant improvements at every level“, Foreshadowing an update that focuses on user experience. However, “new ones may arrive interfaces for multitasking in iPadOS“.
While the interface “hasn’t changed much since iOS 7 nearly ten years ago,” the new features should be functional. In particular, for Gurman there will be “updates for the notifications and new features of health tracking“.
What’s new in health tracking is still a question mark, even though Apple is supposed to be responding to the new features for the sleep monitoring launched by Google. Little is known about notifications, but we will probably know some details in the coming weeks.
At WWDC 2022 we should also see the new one watchOS 9, which for Gurman could have “great improvements to the activity and health tracking“. No details on how it could be macOS 13 (if indeed this will be the number used). The only rumor leaked is that it could be called Mammotheven if details about it are missing.
At the June event, however, it seems that some hardware news may also arrive, such as the expected Mac Pro with M chip. But Gurman explains that Apple is also working on a new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13 and updates for iMac e Mac mini (probably with M2 chip). We will keep you updated on this, pending WWDC 2022 from 6 to 10 June.
