After announcing the new iPhone and Apple Watch series last month, Apple is preparing to launch the new ones as well iPad Pro con chip M2: the announcement should arrive in the next few days. Instead the news from the world Macs should only debut next year.
Apple ready to announce iPad Pro with M2 chip in the coming days
Mark Gurman, Bloomberg analyst very experienced in the Apple world, confirmed that Cupertino is about to launch the new generation of iPad Pro with M2 chip in the next days.
This is the same chip that Apple unveiled for the MacBook Air in June, which will power both the 11 and 12.9-inch versions. These are processors 20% faster than the M1 chip. A nice generational leap, although users will hardly see the difference in daily use: it is already too powerful compared to other tablets.
In addition to the updated version of the tablet for professionals, there is also the tenth generation of the base model iPad, which should have a new design and in all likelihood also the USB-C input and a 5G version.
However, the new iPad is expected to have a chip A14 Bionic, the one seen on the iPhone 12 and iPad Air 14: no new chip for the basic iPad.
The new tablets should arrive by the week of October 24th, with a press release and not a streaming event. Instead, Gurman suggests that new Macs, particularly the MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inches with M2 Pro and Max chips, they should instead arrive in 2023.
The launch date of Apple TV, which comes with a new chip and more memory. At the moment we don’t know whether to arrive together with the iPads or in 2023.
