Apple is preparing to launch its new smartphone in a month, in the third week of September. And it looks like Apple has decided to add the option of one 1TB memory for iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, according to the analyst Daniel Ives on Wedbush.
iPhone 13: Pro models will have up to 1TB of memory
Supply chain analysis, the supply chain, often allows us to understand the timing of the launch of technological products. Ives explained that Apple’s suppliers would prepare a lot of iPhones and about 35-40% of these would be iPhone 13. So the company, with tens of millions of devices ready to launch, should respect tradition and announce the new smartphone in the third week of September. Typically, Apple holds these events on Tuesdays, which makes one think on the 14th or 21st of September are the two eligible dates for the launch.
Still analyzing the supplies, Ives confirms a suspicion that had been circulating since last March. iPhone 13 will give the option of buy memory up to 1TB, doubling the maximum capacity of the iPhone 12. This upgrade, however, should only concern the larger models, iPhone 13 Pro e iPhone 13 Pro Max.
A news certainly appreciated by many users, especially those they love take advantage of the smartphone cameras memorable shots and videos to capture a moment. The large memory cut will allow to limit the space used in the subscription cloud, saving the heaviest files locally. Also because according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman analysis, the new iPhone should have a lot of news for videos. Starting from “Portrait mode” for shooting, passing through the quality ProRes in addition to ProRAW added with iPhone 12. Also it seems that Apple improves the optics ultra-wide, switching to a 6-element structure with autofocus.
Finally, Ives also confirmed the presence of the sensors LiDAR across the iPhone 13 line, enabling more realistic augmented reality experiences and better autofocus in low light conditions. In about a month, we’ll know if he’s right.
