The new iPhone 15 it will arrive this fall, but the first renders are leaked online which show a device with a renewed design – and more similar to this year’s Pro models. Indeed, the Dynamic Island it even comes on the base model. But it will also have a larger 6.2-inch display.
iPhone 15 shows the Dynamic Island in the first renders
The news comes from 9to5Mac, which after publishing the renderings of the iPhone 15 Pro (we tell you about it here) was able to obtain the 3D CAD files for the iPhone 15. He then asked Ian ZelboRenderer Extraordinaire, managed to transform these CADs into the first renders of the smartphone.
This year, the iPhone 15 will drop the notch per una Dynamic Island. This innovation introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro models last year takes full advantage of the oval-shaped cutout at the top of the screen, hiding the front camera and Face ID sensors.

Dynamic Island will therefore arrive on all iPhone models, a novelty compared to the past. But the other is also evident from the renderings big news for 2023: all models of iPhones will finally have USB-C.
USB-C is already in many Mac and iPad models, but it’s coming to iPhones instead have been using LIghtning since 2012.
The renders show that the iPhone 15 display will change slightly, measuring 6.2 inches. So the resolution may slightly change due to different size, but at the moment we don’t know the details (including the refresh rate).
However, the a design remains unchanged dual camera on the back, with the Pro models getting a new LiDAR camera. Also missing are the capacitive buttons, which apparently will only arrive on the Pro models.
