Apple could launch the new one iPhone SE 3 in the first three months of 2022. The device will remain the budget version of the iPhone, but it should have 5G support and the new one chip A15 for snappy performances, even with the old design.
iPhone SE 3 could arrive in early 2022
The news comes from the Taiwanese newspaper TrendForce, which confirms that the economic version of the Apple smartphone should arrive in the first three months of 2022. This means that, if the news were to be confirmed, Apple would launch iPhone SE in a period in which historically the Apple does not launch smartphones. With one exception: the first version of the SE, which presented the March 21, 2016.
According to the newspaper, Apple plans to sell up to 25-30 million units of the dispositive, increasing the already excellent smartphone sales seen with the iPhone 13.
There are no major leaks on the devices yet. However, the analyst Ming–Chi Kuo, a great expert on Apple, seems to have a clear idea of what the device will look like. In fact, he has previously stated that there will be no major variations in terms of design for the new generation. This means that we will see the same look from iPhone 8, with a 4.7-inch display and large bezels to accommodate the speakers and cameras above, with the Home button under.
Apple would actually be working on a device more similar to contemporary taste, with a small notch and a larger screen. But according to Kuo it should arrive after 2023 (although other analysts think it may be wrong).
What seems certain is that it comes with a chip that supports 5G, probably the A15 seen on iPhones 13. This should ensure the device is getting the most out of iOS 15 and all of its features. Although the price remains to be seen to see if it is worth investing in this device. We will keep you updated with any upcoming news.
