iPhone SE, il cambio di design arriva nel 2024 thumbnail

iPhone SE, the design change arrives in 2024

This year Apple will present a new version of its budget smartphone, but which will retain the design with the Touch Id button already seen on the SE line. But in 2024 a new one should arrive iPhone SE with the notch for the Face ID and a design similar to that of the iPhone XR and 11.

iPhone SE 2024 will have a notch design for the Face ID

The iPhone SE line has a simple recipe that is proving effective for Apple. Use the design and chassis of older iPhones, replacing the chip with the latest version for snappy performance. This year, iPhone SE (2022) 5G it should still have the iPhone 8 design already seen in the 2020 SE, but with the A15 chip.

In 2024, however, a change of direction should arrive. The next smartphone in the SE line will have the design from iPhone XR o iPhone 11. Therefore no Touch ID, but a full-screen design with an abundant notch to house the selfie camera and infrared sensors for the Face ID.

Furthermore, the device’s screen would become more abundant, reaching 6.1 inches. There would then be a larger battery accompanied by the support for charging Qi wireless. Furthermore, this new iPhone SE 2024 is also expected to have a chip for the 5G from Qualcomm, as for this year’s SE. Instead, it is rumored that in 2023 Apple will be able to produce its own 5G chips, but that it would leave the novelty only for the main line of iPhones, not for the SE.

None of this information is official: there are still two years left before a possible launch of iPhone SE 2024. But what seems more certain is that for 2022 Apple will be content to change only the processor of its budget smartphone (which could arrive in the spring), to change the design only later.
