The world of videogames mourns today the untimely death of James Light, known for being the producer of Hell Let Loose. Light died at the age of 28 following complications from heart surgery. He had started his career in 2018, precisely for the making of Hell Let Loose.

A message signed by was posted on the game’s official page on Reddit Max Rea, CEO di Black Matter Studios. The note reads:
“It is with great sadness that we learn of the news of the disappearance of our beloved colleague James Light. James died on June 18 at the age of 28, due to complications following heart surgery. His disappearance was a severe blow, which devastated everyone who knew him.
Over the past four years, his incredible work ethic, humility and kindness have made him a pleasure to have him as a colleague. It’s certainly one of the main reasons why Hell Let Loose got to where it is today ”.
In these hours, on Twitter and Reddit, fans and colleagues are paying tribute to James Light, while his girlfriend is asking fans to support the British Heart Foundation in his memory.
