Riot Games today revealed the K-Pop band of NewJeans will perform the official anthem of Mondiali 2023 in League of Legends. The song that will accompany the tournament is titled “GODS”.
Fans will be able to listen to the song on YouTube or all music platforms starting October 4, 2023.

The music video for “GODS” will tell the true story of Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu, one of the strongest professional League of Legends players in the world. Originally from South Korea, Deft started playing LoL when he was still a high school student and has since embarked on an extraordinary career that led him to win the 2022 World Championship with his team, defying all odds. The video will show the most important stages of his personal and professional growth, highlighting his indomitable spirit and his passion for the game.
The League of Legends World Championship, also known as Worlds, is the most anticipated and prestigious event in LoL eSports. Every year, the best teams from nine different regions compete for the title of world champions. The month-long tournament takes place in a different region each year, hosting qualified teams from professional leagues around the world.
