Phantom Liberty is coming, the new expansion of Cyberpunk 2077, which will bring the character of Johnny Silverhand (interpreted by Keanu Reeves). The DLC was announced during the streaming event Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire of the developer CD Projekt Redwhich is known that the expansion will arrive in 2023.
The trailer for the DLC was also presented during the event. This shows Johnny Silverhand taking an oath in the “New United States of America” before being told that taking an oath was a “bad idea”. At the conclusion of the trailer, surprisingly, Reeves appeared on the screen to announce his return to the game.

According to a description in the trailer, Phantom Liberty will take place “in a brand new neighborhood of Night City” and will be a “spy thriller”. No exact DLC release date has been revealed at the moment, but we know from the teaser the release will take place in 2023. We also know that the expansion will not release on the last-gen versions of Cyberpunk. Phantom Liberty will therefore be available only on Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 5, PC and Google Stadia.
