Land Rover Classic has organized a unique full-day off-road driving experience, which will take place on the estateEastnor Castle, 9 November 2023. Limited to nine participants only, to ensure maximum time behind the wheel, the event will take place on a selection of the 60 miles of carefully managed off-road trails, including several locations notable in Land Rover’s 60-year history.
All set for the Land Rover Classic off-road experience
Instructors specially trained staff will provide one-on-one instruction allowing guests to explore the heritage of adventure and experience Land Rover’s unstoppable all-terrain capability, achieving the impossible in this adrenaline-pumping experience. It will be possible to go through the original route of the press launch of the Range Rover 1970 and drive up the famous inaugural Gearbox hill, one of the largest test hills on the site used by Land Rover for testing since 1960.
Some rare vehicles from the private Land Rover Classic collection have been selected by our team of experts, to offer guests the best driving experience. The opportunity will therefore be offered to drive iconic models ranging from the first examples of the Series I to a Series IIa previously owned by the co-founder of Land Rover Spencer Wilksup to a first generation Range Rover and the latest Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy Edition.
An exclusive event
This exclusive all-day event will include exclusive touches of luxury, including lunch in the beautiful scenery of Herefordshire, some giveaways and the chance to relive one of the challenges of the legendary Camel Trophy and G4 competitions. At a later time, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a special tour of the Classic Works and private collection. The award-winning photographer Nick Dimbleby, whose work with Land Rover and automotive shipping around the world spans over two decades, will be on hand to capture memories of the day.
