The team of League of Legends shared a new video “Dev Update”, providing some details on important updates coming to ranked splits, pre-season, some of the community’s favorite modes and much more.

In the video, Riot Brightmoon, Meddler and Pupulasers discuss what’s new for theDev Update introdurrà in League of Legends:
- Starting in 2024, LoL will move to three ranked splits.
- The preseason changes will be introduced when Ranked starts in 2024.
- There will be a number of exciting changes in the pre-season, including changes to items, objectives and the map.
- The Mythic item system is about to leave the game, but some of the most beloved items will remain.
- Ranked will remain open in November and December.
- Arena went offline with the Warrior Within event, but is undergoing some improvements and will return in December.
- The Modes Team is exploring different features like new buffs, better champion vitality, map changes, and ways to play with more than one friend
- Blitz al Nexus will return in late October, for 5 weeks, with a number of improvements.
- The new introductory bots are about to be tested on the PBE.
- In the next Dev Update, the team will talk about new and improved champions like Jax and Skarner.
