Even though tablets and smartphones allow us to do many things today, the computer it is still an indispensable item in everyday life. Especially to work, study, have fun and stay in touch with others. For this reason, it is important to learn how to use it correctly. So let’s see some tips on how to learn how to best use this tool!

Learning to use the PC: our advice

Choose the PC that suits your needs

If you have not yet purchased a PC, you will first have to choose the model best suited to your needs. Typically a good modern laptop can meet all the needs of the average user. If you don’t want to play, you can easily opt for a model with integrated GPU such as the Acer Swift Go 14 which will allow you to work and study comfortably on the move. If, however, you want to save something, without sacrificing performance, a mini PC could be right for you: small and powerful, they cost less and can give great satisfaction but you will need a monitor! If, however, you want to play, you will have to focus on a laptop equipped with a GPU which, however, will be bulkier and heavier, but very powerful. The best thing, however, is certainly to opt to assemble your PC from scratch!

Solve problems with tutorials

To solve the most common problems the simplest method is to search on the web. There are dozens and dozens of excellent sites like AmicoPC and support and tutorial forums. It won’t be difficult to find what’s right for you. However, you will have to use the right keywords while carrying out your search. Be precise and concise in describing the problem and specify the model you are using. For example, if you have the classic printer problem, don’t search for “printer doesn’t print”, but perhaps “Canon MP200 printer doesn’t print”. If there are any error codes or messages you can copy them into the search bar.

Take advantage of free videos on YouTube

If you are looking to learn some specific skills like using the Office suite or programming, certainly the written tutorials are very useful. But it can be much more useful to start by watching videos. YouTube is full of interesting and very useful content for learning how to use practically any software, even the most complex ones such as graphics, 3D design and video editing software. And above all they are completely free! You will certainly have to have a little patience and perhaps nibble here and there to learn all the details correctly. Otherwise you can also purchase video courses on sites like Udemy or Coursera.
