LEGO 2K Drive: here are the first images and the release date

Developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Games today announced the release date for LEGO 2K Drive, the new open-world racing game featuring the world’s most famous bricks. The racing game is officially coming on May 19, 2023 su PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch e PC.

In addition to the release date, the developers have released the first images of the game and gameplay details.

What we know about LEGO 2K Drive, out May 19th

As you might expect from a LEGO-style racing game, LEGO 2K Drive will allow players to create their own vehicles. These can then be driven at full speed in the game’s vast open world. In addition to fully customizable cars, the title also provides collaborations with McLaren Automotivewhich will bring some versions of the iconic brand to the game.

• A story set in a vast open world: Players will travel across the multiple regions of Brickland, as they compete in hopes of winning the coveted Sky Cup Trophy. The open world allows players to choose how and when to continue the story, exploring a game world full of racing, mini-games , challenges, collectibles, things to destroy and famous LEGO themed vehicles like City, Creator, Speed ​​Champions and more.

• High-Octane LEGO Racing: Racing mode is presented to us as “a frenetic and out of the ordinary experience”. Players will be able to compete on a wide selection of tracks, taking advantage of both their driving skills and unique power-ups.

• High level of customization: LEGO 2K Drive introduces a diversified customization system. This allows players to build and customize their own vehicles to their heart’s content, with over 1,000 unique LEGO pieces plus a huge range of color designs, stickers, decorations, and more.

• Multiplayer o single player? In addition to the single player, the game features a cooperative mode and a competitive multiplayer. You can play with friends both online and locally (with split screen for up to two players).
