LEGO has announced the new LEGO Star Wars AT-AT set: the latest launch of the year of the Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) line, a true must-have for LEGO and Star Wars fans
L’AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) first appears in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. His imposing figure appeared on the horizon over the frozen fields during the Battle of Hoth, ready to attack the Rebel Alliance shield generator. Nothing like it had ever been seen before, and the Galactic Empire’s ground forces used the gigantic dimensions of the AT-AT to overwhelm the Rebellion and, ultimately, destroy the Echo Base.
The new LEGO model, which pays homage to the giant vehicles from the film, is impressive in both size and detail. The set consists of 6,785 pieces, a moving head, rotating guns, adjustable legs and side panels that open to reveal the faithfully reproduced interior.
LEGO Star Wars AT-AT: here is the new set!
Plus, the set comes with nine minifigures and tons of accessories, including Luke Skywalker (equipped with a thread to allow fans to recreate the famous scene, in which he swings from an AT-AT in an attempt to counter their attack), the generale Veers, due piloti AT-AT, a Commander Snowtrooper e quattro minifigure Snowtrooper: also included due speeder bike, a E-Web cannon and many interactive and bizarre elements! An incredible model both to admire and to take action: inside, in fact, a whole army of Snowtrooper minifigures can be inserted, 40 in total.
Unboxing is also a unique experience: the pack shows beautiful images of the final set, taken from all angles. All the pieces are stored in four inner boxes, which together reproduce the famous scene of the Battle of Hoth.
A must-have gem for Star Wars fans, designed by the legendary LEGO Design Master Henrik Andersen. Speaking of the design, Andersen said:
The LEGO Star Wars AT-AT mega set is what everyone has been waiting for, and it was a thrill to bring this long overdue construction to life. The AT-AT was an engineering masterpiece and the LEGO set will be an impressive replica of it. We’ve also included a lot of details, which will provide hours of fun for LEGO and Star Wars fans.
The set is part of the Ultimate Collector Series, which also includes the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon set, the LEGO Star Wars UCS A-wing set and the recently released LEGO Star Wars UCS Cannoneer of the Republic set.
The LEGO Star Wars AT-AT set is available from November 26, 2021 in the LEGO Store and on the official website, at the recommended price of € 799.99.
