Lenovo announced that it had entered into an agreement of technical partnership with the Dynamis PRC team. This is the racing department of the Politecnico di Milano that since 2005 has competed in the Formula SAE, the university competition of engineering design that involves both the design and production of a racing car. For the first time, the Politecnico di Milano team will participate in the competition, bringing a fully electric car.
Lenovo supports Dynamis PRC, the Milan Polytechnic team
Dynamic PRC it involves a total of about 100 students from all courses of study. The team will be present at the university competition SAE formula with an electric-powered vehicle. The vehicle in question was developed with the support of smarter technologies from Lenovo. The team can count on 2 wins (Formula ATA 2019 and Formula Student Netherlands 2019) and a 3rd place (Formula Student Germany 2019).
The Dynamis PRC design team was able to count on the computing power of workstation Lenovo ThinkStation P620 to accelerate the development of the project. There workstation Lenovo P1instead, it was used by Dynamis PRC for the analysis of the data on the track as well as for carrying out simulations and advanced analyzes.
