According to some rumors, the stand alone multiplayer spin-off of The Last of Us could be released for free. To suggest it is a job advertisement posted by the developer Naughty Dog. The software house would in fact be looking for personnel with “proven experience in videogame production to create a live AAA title, free to play”.
In fact, we know that the software house is working on a new multiplayer spin-off of the popular title, although the news in this regard is decidedly limited. As far as we know, the game is expected to be announced next year.
What do we know about the new spinoff of The Last of Us
As mentioned, the information in our possession is scarce, but the fact that Naughty Dog is looking for personnel offers us some more information. The study believes that the ideal candidate should have a “deep understanding of the intricacies of live gaming operations and a track record of building processes to help the team reach its maximum potential”
Previously Neil Druckmann, co-chair of Naughty Dog, said the project “exceeded their initial expectations”.
In the meantime it has been announced that the TV series inspired by The last of Us will be released in 2023. The show sees Peter Pascal e Bella Ramsey in the roles of protagonists Joe and Ellie. Below is the first cryptic official trailer.
