Logitech G is collaborating with Tencent Games to launch a portable console dedicated to cloud gaming later this year. The new hardware will be designed for cloud gaming services and will apparently also support Xbox Cloud Gaming and the service GeForce Now. Logitech and Tencent are in fact collaborating with Microsoft and NVIDIA for the realization of the hardware. Let’s find out all the details together.

Today Logitech and Tencent are limited to giving a ‘anticipation of the device, not to mention a release date, a price, or the look of the console for cloud gaming. Logitech will obviously rely on its experience in the construction of PC accessories e consolewhile Tencent appears to be more of a operating partner. Ujesh Desai, General Manager of Logitech G, said:

As a person who grew up playing video games, the idea of being able to broadcast and play AAA games almost anywhere is super exciting and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on. “
The new portable console for cloud gamingat the moment, only owns one dedicated website where it is possible to sign up to receive updates. However, Logitech promises a launch before the end of the yearso we should receive more information in the coming months.
This mysterious new handheld console arrives months after the debut of Steam Deckthe console of Valve which helped turn the game idea on PC on the go. Steam Deck supports cloud gaming services such as Stadia e Xbox Cloud Gaming, but many users would like a cheaper console alternative, one that can run cloud games and not be completely dependent on the phone. It looks like Logitech is doing just that.
