Madame Web is the new film that integrates to the Marvel universe produced by Sony which is expected in theaters from February 16, 2024. No official images or trailers have been released yet, but in the meantime producer Lorenzo Bonaventura gave an interview in which he goes into more detail about the plot of this movie and gave some insight into the plot.
Madame Web: what the plot of the film tells
Spider-Man fans might like Madame Web a lot, because it reflects that narrative genre and because in the original comics this character makes his first appearance right within The Amazing Spider-Man series. Madame Web is the leader of the “spider women” group and she approaches the superhero to help him become aware of his powers. Her real name is Cassandra Webb, a blind woman who suffered from neurological deterioration. This, this is what is told in the comic and the film, in this first, unedited chapter, will start right from the origins of the superheroine, therefore from the person from whom the character with superpowers was born. A plot like this makes us think that there will be other chapters of this film and that they are already planned. The confirmed cast consists of Dakota Johnson in the starring rolenext to her Adam Scott, Emma Roberts, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps e Zosia Mamet.
We just have to wait for more information on this film, especially the most awaited by fans, namely the official poster and especially the trailer, which will give us a clearer idea of what the style of the film will be. For the first time on the big screen, this character further expands the Marvel universe, especially the one managed by Sony with the Venom and Morbius films.
