The beloved (and late) character Ciro Ricci from Mare Fuori could return for a spin-off centered on him
Ciro Ricci, antagonist of Mare Fuori like Berlin of the Casa de Papel? It is Ciro’s interpreter himself who makes this bizarre comparison. In fact, Berlin is one of the first characters to die in the Netflix series La Casa de Papel, but he recently returned to the platform with a prequel series dedicated to him. Ciro di Mare Fuori, dies at the end of the first season, but for the moment no spin-off for him is planned. However, Ciro was one of the most loved characters of the Rai series, despite him being one of the “baddest”. His return to the series has often been hypothesized. Many have thought he might still be alive, perhaps hidden somewhere and ready to return to the scene at the first opportunity. Last week Giacomo Giorgio, interpreter of Ciro, made a guest appearance on the program La Volta Buona, to promote the series Doc – nelle Tue Mani, in which he plays the role of a new resident. Obviously, the topic of Mare Fuori was not touched upon given that the debut of the fourth season of the series on Raiplay was on February 1st and from the 14th it will also be broadcast on Rai 2. However the presenter, Caterina Balivo, during the interview attempted to extort information about his character from the actor to understand if he was really dead or not.
Spin off on Ciro and other projects on Mare Fuori
The actor was professional and has not revealed anything about his possible return to the series. At that point the presenter, with the approval of many fans, launched a appeal for the “resurrection” of Ciro in Mare Fuori. Then he added that a possible spin-off on Ciro could be an interesting turning point for the series, given that the character is still one of the most loved. At that point the actor absolutely did not hold back declaring his full availability to take part in a project of this kind. However, for the moment the only project that concerns the series is the making of a film. According to rumors, in fact, the plot would focus on the past of some characters, but the information we have so far is not official. If this rumor was true, Ciro Ricci would certainly be a perfect candidateeven given the availability of the interpreter the scenario could actually happen.
