As to why, we will repeat one of the main advantages of the game: minigames, boards and characters are all available by default at the first start. Not for this, however, there is nothing to unlock; on the contrary, as it should be that all the best enjoyable material in single player – the “encyclopedic” one – is found behind the counter of Toad’s shop. What do I buy?
Mario Party Superstars coins are very tempting Toad of the store, which is surprising given their large number (if you know how to make money, of course). We can give you two explanations for this method. The short one is playing solo against three CPU-managed opponents in the main mode, simply called Mario Party. To go into more detail, we invite you to set their skill on “easy”. It’s not that it changes much, actually, but if you just want to make money, it’s useless to look for challenges. A fruitful session, even setting the number of rounds to 10 (the minimum), can yield between 600 and 1000 coins. As always, it takes a good dose of luck, so don’t be scrupulous. After all, it is training for matches against other friends (who will probably stop being so).
And then there are the minigames
Let’s go back to talking (well) about Mount Minigames, where you can hone your skills. Specifically, choose the couple challenge and set the number of Stars needed to win to three. By doing so, you should be able to cash out 150 handy coins. And we don’t say “comfortable” by accident: more often than not, this is enough to buy one of the items on sale at Toad’s shop.
