Square Enix has announced that Marvel’s Avengers “Black Panther – War for Wakanda” expansion is available as a free update for all owners of the base game. The story of the free War for Wakanda expansion revolves around Re T’Challa, aka Black Panther, faithful protector and current ruler of Wakanda. When the forces of the evil Klaw threaten the security of Wakanda, T’Challa will have to face them to defend everything he cares about. Surprised by betrayal and the resulting tragedy, T’Challa finds it difficult to entrust his duty to others, even his sister Shuri, while facing anyone who wants to harm Wakanda.
Players will experience the game’s story and extra missions in the Avengers Initiative underway in the lush jungles of Wakanda, a new environment that contains the only vibranium deposits in the world, the most precious resource in existence. In addition, they will be able to explore the royal palace overlooking Birnin Zana, also known as “the Golden City”, in a new outpost containing Shuri’s laboratory, Zawavari’s rooms and the Wakandian war room.
Square Enix has announced that a new digital-only version of the game is also available.
