According to the developers of Eidos Montreal, Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy will be chock full of dialogue
At E3 2021 Square Enix surprised everyone with the arrival of a new game dedicated to Guardians of the Galaxy. Eidos Montreal is working on creating this single player adventure dedicated to the famous heroes of Marvel. Today the developers of Eidos reported that Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy will really have a lot dialogues, enough to overcome some milestones of the RPG genre such as the titles of the series Deus Ex.
Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy will be very focused on narrative and dialogue between characters
The new title of Eidos Montreal, which have already taken care of making Marvel’s Avengers, will rely heavily on the possibility of having a choice within the conversations between the characters. The senior gameplay director, Patrick fortier, in an interview on Game Informer reported that Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy it will have twice as many interactions as a title in the Deus Ex series. The characters will often talk to each other, and in the quieter moments they will exchange jokes, digs and anecdotes just as if we were watching a movie dedicated to these superheroes.
Some dialogues will also feature choices that could completely change subsequent events, although for the moment it is too early to know if these choices will also affect the general plot and hypothetical multiple endings. Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy will come next October 26 on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. A version playable exclusively in the cloud will arrive on Nintendo Switch. The developers have already announced that the game will be focused solely on single player and will not have in the future no DLC or microtransaction.
