Sunset Overdrive’s low revenues are the least of its problems Insomniac Gameswhose recent and (compared to others) monumental leak also revealed plans for the multiplayer online Of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. We have known for some time about the development team’s ambition in the multiplayer sphere, but the leak of information (which we speak of with great reluctance, although it is now public knowledge) revealed the future plans of the software house for the next seven years. The presentation leaked on Reddit in fact shows a roadmap for what appears to want to become the Marvel video game universe. Is online multiplayer just the beginning for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
Following the Spider-Man 2 online multiplayer expected in 2024the presentation also alludes to 2026 as the release year of the same mode for Marvel’s Wolverine. Network multiplayer will then extend to Marvel’s X-Men in 2028, although curiously the game itself is expected in 2030. The leaks have shed light on the complete crossover, unnumbered and simply titled The Great Web. Returning to the information officially released, the game itself will receive three free DLCs in 2024, against the astronomical revenues recorded. We could limit ourselves to that for the moment, considering that in the entertainment industry they also exist fake leak to mislead the sector press (or discover moles in a creative team).
