Marvel’s Wolverine: will the game be open world? The more than well-known insider Jeff Grubb thought about answering this question, who gave various information relating to the title
In this video game season, Insomniac Games is working on several projects: on all of them Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a title that will be released during this year and on the already announced (but silent until now) Marvel’s Wolverine. While official details about the game are not scarce yet, some unofficial information has been revealed by Jeff Grubb, related to the possibility that Marvel’s Wolverine is an open world.
“Marvel’s Wolverine will be a semi-open world”
According to Grubb’s statements, the title, Marvel’s Wolverinecould be a semi-open worldthus presenting a structure very similar to games such as God of War: Ragnarok and The Last of Us Part 2. Furthermore, Grubb himself stressed that the game will present the classification of “M for Mature”, thus indicating a certain age group to which the title refers and in which it is advisable to play it. Considering the nature of the superhero in all likelihood we will see fairly violent disemboweling and killing mechanics.
Finally, Grubb also argues that Insomniac and Sony are currently aiming for a fall 2024 releaseeven if it is not necessarily a fixed date, which could be postponed to 2025 should development take longer. We remind you that the title will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5. We look forward, therefore, to further news and updates.
