We may have unannounced platforms when the release date of the new Mass Effect arrives: the rumors start again from Jeff Grubb
If you remember well, we talked about the next one just yesterday Mass Effect: you will be (un)happy to know that, according to the rumor echoed by that chatterbox of Jeff Grubbthe exit date the next chapter is still a long way off. BioWare confirmed that he is working on the new episode of the successful science fiction saga, specifying however that the journey of whoever is the new hero or heroine is only just beginning. On his podcast Game Mess Mornings, the insider spoke of a game that is “anything but close to release.” Grubb’s comparison is with Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, announced in 2018 and possibly coming next year, which translates in 2028 or 2029 as eligible years. Ouch.
The release date of Mass Effect: light years of rumors await us, decreed Jeff Grubb
It was August when BioWare confirmed that the gestation of the next Mass Effect was only just beginning. And being in the pre-production phase translates into a predictable scarcity of details on the matter, leaving aside the fact that (according to other rumors) the title, unlike Andromeda released in 2017, it won’t be open world. What we know for sure is that the game will take advantage of theUnreal Engine 5, at least. The teaser shown recently was not CGI, but rather pure real-time graphics engine. The same time we will probably have to wait, but you know: even indies can be late, let alone when it comes to productions with a markedly cinematic ambition.
