Mercedes-AMG has launched two versions of its new high-performance SUV: la GLC 43 4Matic e la GLC 63 S E Performance. What are the main characteristics of each? The GLC 43 4Matic is equipped with a powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces 421 horsepower with the help of an electric exhaust gas turbocharger. In addition, it has a belt-driven generator that adds an additional 14 horsepower.

This version has outstanding features such as rear axle steering as standard, AMG Performance 4Matic permanent all-wheel drive with rear torque distribution, AMG Speedshift 9-speed gearbox and AMG Ride Control suspension with Adaptive Damping System. The GLC 63 SE Performance, on the other hand, offers a combined output of 680 horsepower thanks to the coupling of the 2.0-litre AMG turbo engine with a electric propulsion on the rear axle.

The performance of both cars is impressive. The GLC 43 4MATIC reaches 100 km/h from standstill in just 4.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The GLC 63 SE Performance is even faster, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and an electronically regulated top speed of 275 km/h. Visually, both SUVs feature sporty details typical of the AMG line, such as the radiator grille with vertical slats, the front apron with flics, the sporty air intakes and chrome elements.

At the rear, the GLC 43 has a diffuser-style apron and twin round tailpipes, while the GLC 63 S has an additional diffuser panel and twin trapezoidal tailpipes. Inside, the AMG Arctic/Microut microfibre seats feature AMG graphics and upholstery in line with the style of the cars.
