If you haven’t managed to tune in to the second Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, the videogame themed event dedicated to VR platforms that we once called “Oculus”, don’t worry: here we are. The show aired yesterday, April 20, and brought forward some pretty big titles, such as NFL PRO ERA, Among Us VR, Red Matter 2, Moss II and the new chapter of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinner. In this (long) article we will go to see them one by one, and we will certainly start from the most important one and that made the internet chatter in the last few hours: “Who you gonna call?”
Ghostbusters! (VR)
The biggest announcement, as always, Mark Zuckerberg kept it for the end, officially unveiling Ghostbusters VR. The title will be published by Sony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR) and developed by nDreams. Buckle up the proton backpack, you are back in the universe of the Ghostbusters. Based in the new San Francisco headquarters, ghosts must be tracked down, exploded and trapped while trying to unravel a mystery that threatens the entire city, or perhaps the world. You can also team up with three friends to experience a great and engaging adventure.

The first chapter of The Walking Dead: Saint & Sinners (came out two years ago and millions of players have trod its streets infested with the undead, to save New Orleans or to condemn it. As we all know, however, all the actions have a consequence. Developed by Skydance Interactive, the second chapter will allow you to continue your journey through a completely new New Orleans, but even more dangerous. Fewer resources, more walkers, and a new bloodthirsty threat await you – get ready.
NFL PRO ERA | Meta Quest Gaming Showcase Ads

Book II is based on the story that began with the first chapter and, after saving his uncle Argus, Quill’s adventure continues with the revelation of a winged tyrant who is hunting her inside the cursed castle where his uncle was held captive. Beneath the quaint streets and alleys of Grand Amnis lies a vast labyrinth of ruins, long forgotten by those above. In RUINSMAGUS you can travel deep into this underground realm in search of valuable and powerful objects. The player will unravel the secrets of a lost age, transforming himself from a novice wizard into a powerful one, in a narrative adventure that includes 26 missions fully voiced by talents such as Naomi Ohzora, Ai Maeda, Eiji Takemoto and others. The title will be released later this year.
Cities: VR, Resident Evil 4 – The Mercenaries | Meta Quest Gaming Showcase annunci
Cities: VR was designed to bring streets to life like never before. Fans of Paradox’s City: Skylines will feel right at home as the title captures the essence of that experience on Quest 2. It is not a one-to-one port, but Fast Travel Games will take the player “across the screen,” so to speak, giving him a new chance to appreciate the scale and scenery of the cities he is planning. Cities: VR will be available starting next April 28th.
When Resident Evil 4 came out last year, many asked what happened to the Mercenaries. The fan favorite horde mode is now available for anyone who already has the fourth chapter for Quest 2. The Mercenaries was completely rebuilt for VR by Armature Studio, in collaboration with Oculus Studios and Capcom. You will always have to take out as many Ganados as possible before the time runs out. The VR version features exclusive online leaderboards and twenty new challenges to test your skills with.
Beat Saber – Electronic Mixtape, Bonelab | Meta Quest Gaming Showcase annunci
The start of 2022 for Beat Saber was already quite intense, with the release of OSTS and a Fall Out Boy music pack. The year, however, is not over yet and there is still a lot to unveil. Today, Beat Games announced its next, upcoming release: Electronic Mixtape, with tracks by artists such as Deadmau5, Marshmello, Pendulum and more.
Bonelab is the fourth project of Stress Level Zero, former authors of Boneworks, ed it is developed for both Quest 2 and PC VR. Bonelab builds on its predecessor, combining a brand new history with two years of innovation and technological advancement when it comes to interaction. The player will find himself walking the corridors of a mysterious underground laboratory, where he will have to fight, run, climb to explore exquisitely detailed combat simulations, where each object reacts as it is expected to do. Support for mods will also be available. Bonelab’s release is set for this year.
