The pandemic continues to be, unfortunately, at the center of the news and also Meta must adapt its protocols to be able to face the new wave, mainly due to the Omicron variant, with the third dose. Today, the company that controls Facebook has specified that, in view of the return to the office of its employees (scheduled for March 28), the third dose of the vaccine will be required which represents the main weapon to counter the spread of the virus.

A spokesperson for Meta stressed: “The third dose increases the protections. In light of the evidence of the booster’s effectiveness we have expanded our vaccination requirements to include it. ” Therefore, starting from next March 28th, the company’s employees will have to adapt in order to have access to the offices located in the United States.
Will other companies follow Facebook’s lead?
The company that controls Facebook and Instagram is preparing to return to normal working conditions requesting its employees to comply with the provisions of the new protocol. With the third dose, therefore, it will be possible for Meta employees to return to the office normally. At the moment, it is not clear what the company’s choices will be for those who decide not to do the booster.
In the near future, other companies may follow Meta’s lead. At the moment, the booster dose is considered increasingly important to counter the spread of the virus. New updates on the issue could, therefore, arrive in the coming weeks.
