According to those who played Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection well in advance, Hideo Kojima appears to be absent from the credits
The Italian nature of our newspaper would be enough to talk about Hideo Kojimabut the possible absence of his name from the credits of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 it remains a fairly serious fact. We are talking about a “possible” absence because for now we only have the opportunity to stick to the testimony of those who played the title in preview on Twitch, but ten years after the divorce between the publisher and the videogame visionary (to whom we dedicated the second episode of A game design school) the wound seems to have no intention of healing. Clearly a clarification remains necessary which we will make below, but for the moment we will limit ourselves to letting you consult the tweet.
Hideo Kojima isn’t mentioned in the new credits for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1, according to players who have the compilation early.https://t.co/gNNyxIpkQE pic.twitter.com/Ez8vWHPZ0J

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection, una serie di Hideo Kojima
As the community notes included with the post above state, Hideo Kojima’s name does not actually appear in the collection’s credits. However, the final thanks within the three games themselves (i.e. the first Metal Gear Solidthe sequel Sons of Liberty and the prequel Snake Eater) are still intact and don’t fail to put Kojima in the director’s chair. The overall credits for the compilation fail to mention the game designer or David Hayter, Snake’s historical English voice. The legendary spy at the center of the saga has received a new voice actor, Kiefer Sutherland, for less flattering reasons than what happened with Kevin Afghani. Hayter’s last gig as Snake was for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
