MG is one of the few car manufacturers that has seen a more than positive 2021 in terms of sales in Europe. In fact, the British brand announces that it has tripled registrations compared to 2020, and this despite the various problems due primarily to the lack of computer chips and, secondly, to the devastating impact of the pandemic. MG Motor Europe sold 21,946 vehicles in continental Europe, compared to 7,200 units in 2020. The figure becomes even more significant if we also consider the cars sold in the United Kingdom which amount to 30,600 and therefore bring the total between the EU and the UK to 52,546 vehicles delivered.
Analyzing the countries where the brand is present in Europe, France was the one that recorded the best performance in 2021, with a sales percentage of 21.8%. Followed by Sweden (21.5%), Germany (14.5%) and Norway (13.8%). In Italy 919 vehicles were sold, which places our country in seventh place.
