Micromobility is undoubtedly one of the main themes of contemporary society, fundamental above all for the increasingly urgent green change. Thanks to Tier, the inhabitants of Rome now have one more chance to travel this virtuous path. The company, leader in Europe of shared micro-mobility solutions, has in fact expanded its range of sharing services in the capital, bringing as many as 800 e-bikes to Roman roads. Tier’s goal is to make travel within cities smarter, reducing emissions produced by private travel, decongesting traffic and always already developing a responsible approach to micro-mobility. With this choice, Rome becomes the first city in Italy and the nineteenth in Europe to have a Tier-branded bike sharing service.
Tier: a new support for micro-mobility in Rome

We are proud to further expand our offer in Italy and to be able to offer, in addition to electric scooters, 800 e-bikes in free-floating mode. Especially for short and medium distances, TIER bicycles are an additional incentive to abandon the car.
Tier bicycles can count on pedal assistance up to 25 km / h and are a sustainable, safe and efficient means of transport. Each vehicle is also equipped with a basket, in order to make the experience unique and suitable for all needs.
To activate the Tier bikes just use the integrated QR code or the appropriate app. Users can rent e-bikes in the places of the city included within the operational area, which starts from the center and reaches the suburbs. The rental rates are the same as those of the scooters, i.e. 1 euro for activation and 22 cents for each minute of use. For payment, you can use Paypal and credit card. There is also the possibility to benefit from packages and subscriptions, able to guarantee users substantial savings on the cost of activation or on the use of the service.
