Meta, the new name of the company that runs Facebook, has partnered with Microsoft. Both companies are looking at the future of the metaverse and its possible future applications. Thanks to the new partnership, Microsoft Teams will be integrated into the Meta Workplace platform. The project also includes a “reverse” integration with Workplace which will be integrated into Teams allowing users of the Microsoft platform to access the contents of the Mega platform.

Meta and Microsoft join forces

Furthermore, due to the new partnership from December, Microsoft Teams will be integrated into Mega Portal allowing users to make video calls in Teams. The integration from the platforms will start immediately with the possibility of share Workplace content in Teams. The live broadcast of Teams meetings on Workplace will be available, however, starting from the beginning of 2022. The integration program, therefore, will proceed at a rapid pace.
