Microsoft Flight Simulator brought the Redmond’s beloved simulation franchise back to life with its PC launch last year and it turned out to be much better than anyone could have expected. Earlier this year, it was followed by a console launch, which was also surprisingly positive. Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year Edition: the release date is set for next month
Microsoft announced Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year Edition complete with release date. The new edition of the acclaimed title will include the base game and all the updates that have been released for it since its launch last year, along with lots of new content that players can immerse themselves in. This will include 5 new aircraft (Boeing F / A-18 Super Hornet, VoloCity, Pilatus PC-6 Porter, CubCrafters NX Cub and Aviat Pitts Special S1S) and eight new airports (Leipzig airport, Allgäu Airport Memmingen, Kassel airport in Germany, Lugano airport, Zurich airport, Lucerne-Beromunster airport in Switzerland; Patrick Space Force Base and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in the United States).
There will also be new missions Discovery Flight in six locations (Helsinki, Freiburg im Breisgau, Mecca, Monument Valley, Singapore and Mount Cook), a total of fourteen new tutorials, several new features (including an updated weather system, DX12 early access and a development mode playback system) and new photogrammetric cities including Helsinki (Finland), Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), Brighton, Derby, Eastbourne, Newcastle and Nottingham (UK) and Utrecht (Netherlands).
In the meantime, anyone who already has Microsoft Flight Simulator on PC or Xbox Series X / S will be able to run theupdate alla GOTY Edition for free.
